With well over 10 acres of fall produce, Cherry Brook Farm has a vast array of items available - all of which may be personally selected and cut from the vine by you and your family!
From 60+pound orange and white carving pumpkins to flat stackable pumpkins, Cherry Brook has something for folks of all ages.
We personally select the perfect colored mums each season - and individually pot and grow each one here on site. Our mums are among the prettiest and most affordable mums around! Stroll through the over 2,250 plants and select your favorite(s)!
There is something uniquely soothing about strolling through a patch of sunflowers in bloom - and that's why we plant tens of thousands of them on our farm. We aim to have their bloom dates coincide with our Pick-Your-Own season so you can enjoy their beauty while picking pumkins with your family and friends. Whether you want to take pictures to capture their beauty, or if you want to cut several stems for a tabletop vase, we have you covered!
Nothing says summer like a big, juicy ear of sweet corn. We have personally tried several varieties, but have finally found the true winner. If you like your corn super sweet, juicy, and tender - then look no further! Our corn is guaranteed to please every taste bud in your mouth.
When you think about the perfect fall snacks, Kettle Corn has to be high on the list. We hand pop each bag here on the farm, and always sell it fresh. With just the right balance of salty and sweet, our Kettle Corn will have you finding it extremely hard to put the bag down once you open it.
Although folks usually visit us for the first time to buy a pumpkin or mum, most will tell you that the reason they return year after year is simple - to spend time with the ones they love and to form lasting family memories. The most memorable events in life are often the simplest ones. Strolling through the acres of colorful fall items amongst the cool fall air with the crisp blue sky above you- that is simplicity at its finest!
Come see us at Cherry Brook this Fall - you are sure to leave with a smile that won't soon fade!
The thousands of sunflowers that beautify our farm in the Fall attract and array of butterflies and pollinators - Our favorites are the Monarch Butterflies and the Honey Bees.
Our hives of Honey Bees have a huge and essential role on the farm. The blossoms of the pumpkins and sunflowers provide the bees with essential nectar and pollen that they need to survive. While foraging throughout the crops for pollen and nectar, they transfer pollen from the male flowers to the female flowers - and a pumpkin is born!
Without Honey Bees and other pollinators, the world as we know it would change drastically.
After foraging in the fields, the bees must return to their hives to deposit their load of nectar and pollen, which is used to feed the hive. Nectar serves as the bee's carbohydrate source, and the pollen serves as their protein source. The bees must perform this process very diligently in order to survive the long and harsh winters.
